What does Hof van Bommerig have to offer?

Whether you need a short or long period of rest, or a vacation in peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. We have 4 vacation homes for 2/3 persons, built in 2003. Sheltered quiet corners are scattered over the grounds, surrounded by open, green hills. And a meditation room is regularly available.
Hof van Bommerig is uniquely situated very close to both the German and Belgian borders. Foreign visitors can therefore easily explore and enjoy the rich diversity that these three neighboring cultures have to offer. Not far away are the famous historical cities of Aachen, Cologne en Monschau (Germany), Liege and Hasselt (Belgium) and Maastricht (the Netherlands), with their many places of interest, reflecting 20 centuries of European history. All year round, the nearby villages offer all kinds of cultural, folk and culinary entertainments.
Hof van Bommerig is about 15 kilometers from the so called eastern mine region with places like Heerlen, Kerkrade and Rolduc.
As well as cultural and historical richness, nature lovers can enjoy the plentiful, open countryside, whether on foot or cycling. Bycicles can be rented nearby at low rates.
In these relaxed surroundings, you can perfectly work on your book, article, painting, policy document or whatever. Hof van Bommerig is an ideal place for a sabbatical or a period of recovery, and is equipped for people with walking difficulties.
